Ok so the Summer is hopefully on it way and a large number of adventures will be had by all. It is also the time of year when the Birthday of this blogger comes around so I have been looking over Amazon and I have selected a number of products that could be added to a summer camp shopping list.

I wish I could do the every morning

It made me think that we as Scout leader deliver Micro adventures on a week in week out basis to the young people in our Pack/Troops/Units it could be as simple as cooking bread twists on a fire or more formidable weekend survival camp each one to those young people is an adventure.

As you may have already heard, the Executive Council of the Boy Scouts of America released their proposed policy today, which keeps the gay ban in place for adult leaders but would prohibit kicking out openly gay Scout youth members “on the basis of sexual orientation or preference alone [emphasis added]”.

The Scout Promise talks about helping other people. When I realised my 92 year old Grandma was feeling a little left out I set about finding a way to help her. Nannan wasn’t left out on purpose it’s just the rest of us were doing things she can’t. That’s when I came up with Paperwait
