Hello Dear Reader
Last weekend, I took part in the now annual event that is the 43rd Bristol Scout Group Quiz and Curry Night. It is one of the two major fundraising event that we complete each year and it is a great laugh.
I get the role of Quiz Master which includes setting the quiz as well as reading out the questions and running proceedings on the night.
The night its self is a fairly simple concept, run a bar, have a quiz, cook a curry, raise money.
However a lot of work goes on behind the scenes to make it all happen, my job is easy organise some questions, collect some pictures for the picture round read them out. Saturday is a hive of activity with chairs and tables being collected and set up, barrels of beer being tapped and left to settle, rice and curry being cooked in military quantities.
This year we had about 107 people at the event and I think we will make just shy of £1000 form the evening not bad for a quiz.
However I thought I would use my hard work to my advantage and make very easy blog post.
I am going to give you all two questions from each round and see how you get on post your answers in the comments below (No using google and cheating now).
